DBT

Direct bank transfer or DBT has become one of the core reasons for the tremendous success of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi in India, as it received praise from the World Bank and other well-renowned organizations.

As for the direct bank transfer, the government links the bank account of the beneficiary in their system, and whenever the government issues any money, it directly goes to the bank account of the beneficiary.

The DBT scheme has cut the Commission and corruption between the government and the beneficiary. As per the survey, previously, only 20% of the benefit was given to the public, and the rest Commission agents and corrupt officials were taking into their pocket.

Currently, with the help of direct bank transfer, the government is providing support directly to the beneficiary, and it is cutting every chance of corruption and Commission.

For example, when the Narendra Modi government released the 11th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the 2000 rupee amount directly went into the bank account of the farmers. The whole thing is saving time and money for everyone involved in the process.
